Based in the global capital of storytelling - Los Angeles - we are constantly reminded how important it is to frame a message within a story. Most customers don’t respond to you selling features. They respond to your story. Telling that story through branding and positioning is a foundational element of growth marketing.
More than 1/10th of all companies in the Fortune 500 were created in California, many of them founded in the last 30 years. That disruptive culture is part of what it means to be a California company, upending the status quo with constant innovation.
California is America's largest state economy, with a GDP of $2.44 Trillion (2015), ranking it the 5th largest economy in the world, outpacing more than 183 countries. Growth is quintessential to what it means to be a California company and XO embraces that challenge for itself and its clients alike.
Statistics, analytics, and testing help us understand what your users are doing. But before we get there, we must first understand why users are doing what they are doing.
The growth marketer's true north and the backbone of an e-commerce brand's growth.
Funnel thinking is the framework within which we map out the customer's journey from awareness to purchase/conversion of your product(s).
Whether it comes to writing a 1000 word blog post, or just a two-line Google Ad, copywriting and the consumer psychology behind copywriting is a make or break element for growth.
CRO is the process and tactics we follow to uncover why your customers aren’t converting to a particular action, and the things we can do to improve how much they convert.
Functional design that feeds the visual part of a user's decision making and leads the user from one action to the next is an essential component of growth.
